Chapter Philanthropy & Service

In addition to national partners, collegiate chapters also support local causes through philanthropic fundraising and hands-on service on their campuses and in their local communities.

Local Philanthropy

Our local philanthropy is Yaqui Animal Rescue. It is a no-kill, registered non-profit organization. They rescue abandoned and hurt animals and currently have over 200 animals including dogs, cats, horses, pigs, rabbits, donkeys, cows, turkeys, chickens, birds, etc. They depend solely on donations and work tirelessly to find loving homes for their wonderful animals.

Every semester, our sisters go volunteer at the shelter to give a helping hand to our furry friends. We collect donations on campus, whether it is money donations or supply donations, and give to the shelter so they can have everything that they need.

Every spring semester, our sisters host our annual Mr. AST Male Beauty Pageant. All money and donations are donated to our National Philanthropy Dress for Success and our local philanthropy Yaqui Animal Rescue. Catch an eye out for any of our sisters in Spring 2019 to get an application to participate!
